The Southern Queensland Correctional Precinct, Gatton, QLD

June 2023 we entered into our first Unionized project. The Southern Queensland Correctional Precinct upgrade valued at $800 million has an 8 man crew of specialized fitters, boilermakers and riggers to complete the structural and mechanical install of a new waste water treatment plant. Our team is supplying the labor, tooling and onsite structural works required for the duration of the project. Value of works estimated to be $900,000.00 on completion in December 2023.

Our workers are unique as each trade certified individual holds their High Risk Work License containing multiple disciplines from dogging, intermediate rigging, EWP operations and C6 operations. When entering this project there was a 9 month delay, as a company we have worked with our principal client to catch the project up and now be pushing for our finish by December 2023 removing several months off the now delayed timeline.

Magnitude continues with our growth and development within the HDPE sector for gas and oil. Our HDPE team is completing water and gas lines susceptible to rigorous testing including destructive testing. We are familiar in following stringent ITP aligning with strict procedural install parameters.

Magnitude Pipelines & Construction's Successful Completion of Gas Gathering Scope of Works for Wasco Australia.

Magnitude Pipelines & Construction was contracted by Wasco Australia for the Gas Gathering Scope of Works project. The project included 6.5km of 160mm PN16 HDPE Gas Line, 6.5km of 25mm PN20 Instrumental Air, 4km of 75mm PN8 Water, and 6.5km of fiber-optic cable. The team was responsible for stringing out poly welding, lowering in gas, water, Air, fiber-optic cable, as well as installing low point drains.

Despite challenging weather conditions such as heavy rainfall and extreme heat, the team worked tirelessly and in coordination with Wasco Australia to complete the pipeline before the Christmas break.

The successful execution of the project was met with positive feedback from both Wasco and Client State Gas.

Haberfield Ramp Installation, Sydney, New South Wales

Our SMP teams completed the installation of the Haberfield ramp in Sydney, New South Wales. It is designed to form part of the greater walkway for the rehabilitation project along The Bay Run adjoining the Parramatta River. Our team successfully installed the ramp capable of handling thousands of pedestrians a day and provides further access for emergency vehicles.

The team completed set-out and planning, structural steel installation and critical lifts within meters of the busy City West Link whilst in full view of pedestrians accessing a temporary scaffold bridge installed to prevent any disturbances to the local residents.

We worked alongside multiple clients inclusive of local councils, design companies and the principal contractor to ensure the project was completed for residents, tourists and cyclists to enjoy the new direct access onto the bridge.

Visy Pulp & Paper Mill, Tumut, New South Wales

Our specialised maintenance teams have completed works inside Visy MSDS shutdown. This was an integral component within the schedule and our team were successful in delivering the works ahead of schedule. Our team was further tasked with valve replacement, motor and gearbox swap outs to assist in areas where the schedule was falling behind.

The excellent skill and leadership shown by our team allowed Visy to break our crew of 10 into smaller task purposed teams which became an integral factor in finishing areas of works outside of our scope on time.

CSIRO Structural Steel Replacement, Australian Capital Territory

Our continued works throughout NSW exposed our projects installation team to a client in Canberra, ACT. We were tasked with conducting works to the heritage listed CSIRO main building. The tasked works required implicit understanding of the buildings structure to ensure the new structural steel and repair of existing structural steel did not damage or alter the building.

The team were successful in installing and refurbishing mechanical platforms along with walkways, balustrades and landings. The success of these works has now expanded our operations in the ACT with continued support for this site and additional clients located in Canberra.

CSA Ventilation Upgrade, Cobar, New South Wales

Our project team under the management of the principal contractor saw the direction and management of multiple sub contractors, equipment and material handling. This included scheduling, planning and budget management for the duration of the project. The successful completion of these works shows the versatility of our senior leadership and management encompassing the depth of Magnitude Pipelines capabilities withing the mining and construction sector.

Valve/Pump Replacement, Perserverance Dam, Queensland

Our Queensland based operation has continued the expansion of the company by facilitating specialized maintenance repairs at Perserverance Dam. This involved the swap out of high pressure pumps, valves and gearboxes with alignment tolerances under 0.02mm. Assessment was conducted on the works performed by MPC with all tolerances achieved and signed off.

This has created a great opportunity with a new client, further advancing Magnitudes presence into Queensland. We look forward to the continued expansion and works undertaken with such an integral source being the water supply for local Queenslanders while maintaining a strong connection with environment, culture and people.
